Hi there. I did my undergrad at Michigan, Master's at Stanford, and am now in New York for an exciting job at Amazon. I've secretly always wanted to live in NYC and am incredibly excited to be here. Let's see how it goes! I'm used to moving around ... having grown up in 3 countries and backpacked through 9 others. The adventure of waking up every morning in a new city, meeting people from all over the world, seeing some of the greatest historical & cultural sites... it's an amazing experience. If you're looking for recommendations, Paris, Berlin & Stockholm are my favorites.

In my free time, I do quite a bit of public speaking, led a 800-member non-profit, and volunteer with foster children & low-income families. I used to be a Karate assistant instructor, and am now learning Krav Maga. There are few things in life as stress-relieving & mind sharpening as Martial Arts. I used to be a part-time journalist as well back in college, and still write these days on my personal blog. Getting to 100,000 hits was probably my greatest non-work accomplishment of the year. In my downtime, I really enjoy reading newspapers & books; Mistborn, Ender's Game & Fooled by Randomness are some of my favorites. I love getting into deep, philosophical discussions, but also really enjoy hanging out with people who are fun loving, can laugh at themselves & have a great sense of humor.
